French sensation DVRK emerges from the underground with an unbridled force, distilling the essence of raw emotion and sonic catharsis into their debut EP, Infinite Reminiscence. Since the assault commenced in 2019, DVRK has transmuted from the lone cry in the darkness to a full-scale insurrection, clawing their way to the surface.
A tempest of six harrowing tracks delves beyond the veil – charting a course through the jagged terrains of self-discovery, addiction’s siren call, the hollows of depression, and the tenebrous specter of loss. An unexpected turn leads us through a killer’s twisted narrative on Breathless, a macabre dance to the edge of reason. DVRK spares no refuge for the faint of heart, challenging the listener with their audacious narrative and courageous exposition, distilled into precisely 17.43 minutes of unrelenting intensity.
Peter Morgan’s visceral cries, Bastien Deleule and Gerald Audiard’s monstrous riffs, Fabien Letren’s pulsating bass, and Vincent Vidal’s earth-shattering percussions invoke the spirits of resistance and relentless resolve. These messengers of the abyss recorded at Nalcon Studio, under the vigilant gaze of the alchemists Bastien Deleule and Fabien Letren, with the prodigious Matt Thomas at Ashtone Audio transmuting their eldritch screams into polished chaos.
