Grandiosa Muerte, the one-man-band project of Costa Rican musician Max Gutiérrez Sánchez, has officially signed with Wormholedeath Records for the release of their upcoming album “Egregor”. The album, which contains eight tracks in total, is set to release on May 5th, 2023, and promises to be a conduit for the occult, a channel for ancient spirits and forbidden knowledge not to be released upon the mortal plane. In a statement, Max said, “It is with great honor that I announce my signing with the esteemed WormholeDeath label: a true personal milestone and materialization of invocations and rites that allows me to focus on the creative flow of what is to come and has been projected. Through this partnership, I am ready to bring my musical craft to a global audience who also seeks the exploration of the occult, knowing that I am fully backed by a longstanding entity like Wormhole Death. As we embark on this journey, may the darkness of the unknown bind this partnership.” As a one-man band, Max Gutiérrez Sánchez pours his soul into every note, beat, and chord, summoning forth the spirits of the occult and the arcane. His music speaks of the secrets of the Tarot, the teachings of Blavatsky, the laws of Hermes Trismegistus, and the forgotten mysteries of the Mayan spirits. “Egregor” is a 30-minute sonic journey exploring the deepest depths of the human psyche and the beyond, a celebration of the dual aspect of the soul. The album, containing eight tracks in total, was mixed and mastered by the experienced Colin Marston (Gorguts, Imperial Triumphant) in his studio Menegroth – The Thousand Caves (New York, USA). Grandiosa Muerte’s lineup consists solely of Max Gutiérrez Sánchez, who handles vocals, guitars, bass, synths, and programming.
