In the shadows where the ancient and the arcane coalesce, GRAVENOIRE rises, shrouded in mist and whispers of forgotten rites. This auditory monolith manifests through their debut opus, Devant La Porte Des Étoiles, an unflinching homage to the raw and visceral 90’s Black Metal era.

An assembly of black metal luminaries including RMS Hreidmarr (formerly of Anorexia Nervosa), Maximilien Brigliadori, Emmanuel Zuccaro, and Vicomte Vampyr Arkames, evoke the spectral echoes of the past while charting a course through esoteric and mystical realms. Formed in 2022, this ensemble channels an uncompromising vision, meticulously crafted in the crucible of live rehearsals, devoid of digital taint.

From the incantation of the instrumental Pavens to the desolate hymn Granit, every track serves as a ritualistic tome, scrawled with rebellion, mysticism, and an insatiable desire for transcendence. Each song resonates with the sacred energies of France’s Auvergne region, where GRAVENOIRE’s spirit was evoked amidst volcanic craters and sacred stones.
