This year, under the gaze of the waxing moon, HEILUNG cast their spell upon the sacred gathering of Download Festival, with Glastonbury soon to follow at the end of June. With the earth beneath their feet bearing witness, they invoked their mighty rituals, transcending the confines of time, leading the amassed souls to a place where the ancient North breathes.
HEILUNG, keepers of amplified history and weavers of neofolk chants, proclaim a sacred pilgrimage to the ancient lands of Albion (UK) and Eiru (Ireland), summoning kin and kindred souls to join in a celebration of our collective ancestry.
“We are currently in Great Britain in between the two rituals of Download and Glastonbury Festival. Download was epic and we were blessed with clear skies in the midst of heavy rains. It felt wonderful to connect with so many new, engaged spirits.
With this momentum, we are happy to announce that we will return to the UK and Ireland in the beginning of 2025. This journey will bring us to London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester.”
