MIDNIGHT is celebrating the release of their 2011 classic debut album, Satanic Royalty, after nearly a decade of EPs and splits with a special release via Metal Blade Records. Satanic Royalty is both a distillation of first-wave black metal magic and an extension into harder-rocking territories rampant with lust, filth, and sleaze. The name MIDNIGHT has been a cult one for years now, but here they prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt – bow down before their Satanic Royalty.
This special re-issue will include demos of each album track for a bonus disc (included on all formats). Additionally, the CD Digipak will come with a bonus DVD featuring a 10-year album anniversary documentary and three live shows (Defenders of the Faith, Now That’s Class, and Hell’s Pleasure).

The band recently released two evil classics from the bands vaulted discography – No Mercy for Mayhem (2014) and Sweet Death and Ecstasy (2017) – in a variety of limited-edition, colored vinyl.
Guided by the twisted muse of mainman Athenar since 2003, this Cleveland cult have been slaying the metal/punk underground with their own, highly addictive brand of metal subsequently building up a sizable catalog and garnering a rabid fanbase. While there are certainly fanatics for the band’s early EP work, it was MIDNIGHT’s debut album, Satanic Royalty, that entered the band’s name into the annals of ‘classic.’
MIDNIGHT take their mainline classic heavy metal, hard-charging punk rock, and grimy rock ‘n’ roll to the streets of North America as part of “The Sanguine Sodomy of North America Tour” supporting black metal legends MAYHEM and WATAIN. In May 2022, the band return to European audiences with NIGHT DEMON.
