After releasing their triumphant new album ‘Shiki’ last year and an incredible return to the UK with their show at London’s Scala in December the band announce that they will be performing at Damnation Festival on Nov 3 and 4 2023.
Sigh’s Mirai had the following to say regarding the announcement:
“After having played a very enjoyable and successful show in London last December, which was our first UK show in 12 years, now we are really happy to announce our quick return to the UK! We will come back to Damnation Festival after 15 years and this time we are going to play 2 shows, Scorn Defeat 30th Anniversary set and the usual one that covers our whole career. They both will be some special nights, so do not miss them!”
As Mirai notes, their return in London was their first show UK show in twelve years and this appearance will be their first at Damnation Festival in fifteen years. The band will be performing two different sets on two separate nights.
The band will be celebrating the ‘Scorn Defeat’ 30th anniversary with a special set on Nov 3 over at the Cult Never Dies stage for the Damnation Festival warm up ‘A Night of Salvation’ and a normal set that spans the band’s career the following day at Damnation Festival. Both shows will take place at BEC Arena, Manchester.
