The Spanish festival LEYENDAS DEL ROCK shoots another barrage of groups for 2019.
Dee Snider, Delain, Metal Church, Decapitated, Crisix, Pestilence, Brainstorm, Power Quest and Killcode will perform on the stages of Villena.
Leyendas del Rock, to be held at the municipal sports center of Villena (Alicante, Spain) next 7, 8, 9 and 10 August 2019, announces more bands that will be part of its fourteenth edition.
After the confirmations announced so far –Airborne, Eluveitie, Deicide, Avalanch, Lords Of Black, Gloryhammer, Flotsam & Jetsam or Dark Moor, among others-, Sufriendo & Gozando presents nine other additions, including Dee Snider, an authentic “Leyenda del Rock”. The American vocalist, with his overwhelming
personality, maintains an impressive vital rhythm. World icon with Twisted Sister, Snider is now focusing on a powerful solo career endorsed by his recent album “For the Love of Metal”. It is a pleasure to enjoy his presence on the stages of Villena.
The new round of confirmations is completed by Delain, a reference in the European symphonic metal that returns to Leyendas del Rock, by popular acclaim, after its great concert of 2016. The unmistakable voice of its frontwoman Charlotte Wessels is one of the wonders that you should not miss.
If we expand to 8 the great bands of North American thrash metal, there would be the Metal Church. Contemporaries of Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, etc., the band led by Kurdt Vanderhoof obtained, with the seminal “The Dark”, the height of his record production.
Decapitated; the oiled Polish machinery debuts in Leyendas del Rock in a big way. Technical death metal for the most exquisite followers of the style. The annihilation is approaching.
Crisix; the formation of Spanish thrash metal of the moment with more projection in the world, continues giving much to talk about. Immersed fully in the European circuit of great festivals, they could not miss the appointment with Leyendas del Rock. And they come to defend their powerful “Against The Odds”. Be aware!
Pestilence; from Holland we receive a whole legend within complex and sophisticated death metal. The band of Patrick Mameli, surely makes a good revision to seminal albums of the genre such as “Consuming Impulse” or “Testimony of the Ancients”.
Brainstorm; Power metal classic cut and beautiful manufacture. The Germans, untiring fighters, maintain a balanced and powerful career, following the trail of glorious contemporaries of the genre such as Gamma Ray, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, etc.
Power Quest; from the United Kingdom and with a refined style, they have had to break through the historical predominance of classic English rock. After more than a decade without stepping on our country, the concert in Leyendas del Rock will be its only appearance in a European festival in all 2019.
Killcode; the quintet of New York has all the traces to get very high within the southern hard rock scene. Strong songs with an old school aroma and made to be enjoyed live. Another premiere in Leyendas del Rock.
