WITHERED are quietly chiseling away at a new album. In the meantime, the blackened death metal band are hitting the road with fellow Southern iconoclasts Goatwhore, along with blackened punks Spiter.
The tour starts this November in Arkansas. The bands will then tear through the Midwest and Northeast before barreling back down South. After a show in Withered’s hometown of Atlanta and a stop in South Carolina, the tour will wrap up with three shows across Florida.
“It’s been a decade since we’ve shared the road with GoatWhore”, says Withered vocalist and guitarist Mike Thompson. “Ever since Sammy handed me their demo in ’99, I’ve had a lot of affection for those guys. We’ve shared countless good times over all these years and revel in the heaviest of riffs together. Honored to get to do it every night. Spiter is going to be the putrid icing on the cake so, be warned, the crowds won’t stand a chance.”
